Friendly staff made my family feel welcome and the breakfast options were quite decent, especially the hot items. We appreciated the comfortable beds and cleanliness throughout our stay.

We encountered issues with housekeeping, as towels weren’t replaced during our visit. Additionally, the indoor pool was disappointingly closed despite our expectations.

Family stay with some quirks

So, we stayed here for a couple nights right? And let me tell you, breakfast was solid, I mean they even had chocolate milk that my kids were all about. One of the staff at the front desk was super friendly. Gave my kids some stickers as we checked out, made their day!

great base for exploring oak island and surrounding areas

This hotel really impressed me with its fantastic access to nearby attractions, including the beautiful oak island beach just a few steps away and the pleasant marina at saint james plantation less than 5 km from the hotel. the friendly staff made the experience even better with great customer service and a delicious breakfast each morning, ensuring I started my day off right.

We had a good time, but the suite left us a bit bummed. There was mold in the bathroom caulk and some dog hair on the floor. On the bright side, the front desk staff were super friendly and the breakfast options were solid! Just wish the room had a deeper clean. The dogs enjoyed it, tho!

Our room was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after exploring Oak Island. However, I found the parking situation a bit cramped, especially during peak times.

The location is great for visiting Southport and nearby beaches, and the overall ambiance was warm and welcoming. However, there were some cleanliness issues, like hair in the bed and a sticky floor. Friendly staff made a positive difference, but room maintenance needs improvement.
